PROJECT UPDATE || Camberwell Hockey Club Pavillion

IB Projects

04 Sep 2017

IB Projects are currently constructing two level pavilion for Camberwell Hockey Club in the heart of Canterbury, that will be completed before the start of the next hockey season.

The building incorporates a bored pier sub structure, concrete slab on ground, suspended concrete slab to level one, with honed block work and metal cladding.

The unique feature Pic Perf façade is to ensure privacy to the neighbours is upheld and also allow the building to fit the character of the neighbourhood.

The office team has been working closely with the consultants and subcontractors to ensure the construction documentation meets ESD, DDA and Fire requirements. We managed this process with the subcontractors to ensure minimum disruption in our procurement schedule.

Construction is currently underway on site. With demolition and piling works being completed in a timely manner, trenching and in ground services ongoing, with the concrete substructure about to start soon.

The hockey pitch remains operational throughout the whole of this project. We have ensured the boundaries and access of the site are negotiated and carefully coordinated with the Camberwell Hockey Club patrons.
